How to train your AI Cowriter to write in a human voice

Writing information-rich, human-first articles has never been more important. We believe that every voice is unique, and your AI writing tool should be able to capture and replicate your voice for all future articles.

Here’s how we use Reword to do it in these simple steps!

1) Go to the Reword dashboard…

Then click on the button in the top right corner to ‘train a new voice‘.

2) Add relevant training documents…

You can add relevant training documents in the form of PDFs or links for Reword to pick up on the brand voice. These links or PDFs belong to blog posts or content with the style and voice you want to replicate.

For example, if you’d like to train your AI Cowriter to write in Reword’s voice, you can link this newsletter to the ‘add a URL‘ button.

You can add as many resources or training materials as needed.

3) Let the Cowriter analyze and study your documents…

The AI Cowriter extracts useful information about the writing style, content structure, and brand voice of the training (links and imported PDFs). The whole process takes between 10-15 minutes.

Remember: The Cowriter does not extract any useful knowledge or information from the training documents, you can do that inside the Reword editor. This process is simply used to train your cowriter on your voice, or the stylistic approach of your content.

This is how the Reword dashboard looks like when you add your voice.

When you click on the voice, you can see all the documents that you’ve used to train your Reword Cowriter on that specific voice.

Remember: You can go back at any time and edit the materials you added to train a voice.

Following these simple steps will help your AI Cowriter to write in any voice or style, including a personality-driven human voice.
